BTF Triathlon Club Standards
CLUBMARK
- Farnham Triathlon Club has achieved British Triathlon Federation Clubmark accreditation. (Awarded 2007).
- Sport England Clubmark describes the development and accreditation scheme that Sport England has created in partnership with national governing bodies of sport (NGBs) to recognise and accredit clubs that are committed to providing a quality club and with a safe and fun environment for children and young people.
STARMARK
- Farnham Triathlon Club has achieved British Triathlon Federation Starmark accreditation. (Awarded 2005).
- To gain accreditation, clubs must fulfil criteria in the areas of:
- • Club Management
- • Coaching and Competition
- • Sports Equity and Ethics
- • Health and Safety.
- Achievement of the criteria indicates that the Club has reached a minimum level of standards and is recognised by triathletes, sports professionals and the community as a quality Triathlon Club.
Affiliations
- As one might expect, we are affiliated to Triathlon England (TE) which is a member of the British Triathlon Federation (BTF). We are also affiliated to the Cycle Time Trials (CTT formerly RTTC) and England Athletics. This means that members can enter road running races at reduced rates.
